Lillie Winterbottom, Springhill Hospice said: "So, the weather has got the better of us, such a shame.
"We’ve decided that, in the interests of the health and safety of our Santas, tomorrow’s event is to be postponed.
"The good news is that all of our santas will have something to look forward to in the New Year because, as soon as we can agree dates with the council and the visitors centre, we’ll be Dash or Dawdling around the lake again!
"We’re thinking of a January Jingle or a Festive February…..Santa suits and all!"
