Meet at the Victoria statue in Piccadilly Gardens at 9.45 am for a 10 am start.

Walk distance = 2 miles.

National Grade: Leisurely

This is a paid for walk led by a professional Manchester Walk Guide, John Alker, who will take us through Manchester's industrial past with the theme of 'politics and poverty'.  

Please note, that due to the popularity of these walks, car sharing whenever possible would reduce parking congestion.

Advise: Walking Boots, Waterproofs if needed, adequate clothing, snack and drink.

Generally dogs are not permitted, with exception of Registered Assistance Dogs, but anyone wishing to bring a dog should contact the Walk Leader in advance to obtain His/Her consent or otherwise.

They welcome new and potential members to join their walks.
