Date published: 18 March 2024

The Escapes series, bringing a second opportunity to offer free cinema tickets for everyone to discover the charm of independent film, is returning to Rochdale later this month.

Supported by the British Film Institute awarding National Lottery funding, Escapes returns throughout the UK on Monday, March 25, with over 15,000 tickets to a special preview of new British comedy 'Seize Them!'.

Local people can now book two free tickets for the film at the Reel Cinema in Rochdale town centre - and there are still tickets available.

With the opportunity to watch the 'Seize Them!' film ahead of its official UK release date, free tickets are available to encourage everyone to discover, or rediscover, independent cinema.

The film sees Escapes making its audiences smile and laugh as they’re transported to the dark ages to watch the story unfold of arrogant Queen Dagan becoming a fugitive in her own land.
