Rochdale Comedy Festival Brings Big Laughs to Littleborough
The Rochdale Comedy Festival rolls into Littleborough on Wednesday 1st October with a double bill of hilarity, heart, and hometown pride.
‘Blokes’ afternoon at Hare Hill House
Kicking off the day of laughter, ‘BLOKES’ members are invited to a special show at Hare Hill House at 1:30pm featuring the brilliantly frugal Anthony Williams. His solo comedy show, Pathological Penny Pincher, dives into the high-stakes world of bargain hunting from pound shop escapades to near run-ins with the Bulgarian mafia. It’s a masterclass in comedy for anyone who’s ever risked it all for a deal.
Comedy at the Grape N Grain – 7:30pm
Later that evening, the Grape N Grain hosts Baileys on Ice, the latest show from rising comedy star Dawn Bailey. With pin-sharp anecdotes and a no-holds-barred delivery, Dawn brings her unique blend of nostalgia, netball-mum chaos, and giddy knickers to the stage. She’s joined by support acts Anthony Williams and Deb Holt, a Rochdale native who’s returned to share her offbeat brilliance and whip-smart wit.
Tickets for the Grape N Grain show are just £8 and available now at www.rochdalecomedyfestival.co.uk
Doors open from 5pm for food and drink specials (*subject to change).
This is a night of real laughs, real life stories, and real community spirit ,part of a ten-day celebration that’s putting Rochdale on the comedy map.
Come down to the Grape N Grain, support a local business and live comedy.
