Smithy Bridge Station Car Park Closed for Resurfacing Works

Commuters and businesses in Smithy Bridge are being disrupted this week as the train station car park undergoes a full temporary closure for resurfacing.

The closure, which began today and is scheduled to last until Friday 24 April, affects one of the main parking areas used by the station and visitors to the Paragon Industrial Estate. Local businesses including EK Motors, LWL Gym, and other units on the estate are advising customers to allow extra time when travelling to appointments or sessions.

With the car park out of action, drivers are being encouraged to plan ahead, use alternative nearby parking where possible, and take care around the works area, which is expected to be busy during peak times.
