Break-In at The Dog Spa on Hare Hill Road: Appeal for Information

A local pet grooming business, The Dog Spa on Hare Hill Road, was the target of a break-in in the early hours of this morning.

The incident occurred at approximately 1am, according to business owner Amanda McKendrey, who has since issued a heartfelt appeal to the Littleborough community for assistance. In a social media post, she expressed gratitude to Rochdale Police for their swift response and support in the aftermath.

Police officers are expected to be in the village throughout Saturday as part of their ongoing investigation, reviewing nearby CCTV and Ring doorbell footage for any clues.

Amanda is urging other local businesses and nearby residents to check their security cameras in case they captured any suspicious activity during the night. “If anyone has any information,” she added, “please contact me directly via my page.”

The break-in has prompted concern among fellow business owners in Littleborough, many of whom have rallied around Amanda with messages of support.

Anyone who saw anything unusual around Hare Hill Road during the early hours is encouraged to come forward and assist with the investigation.
