Moorcock to Host ‘Tails on the Terrace’ Bank Holiday Dog Celebration

Dog lovers are in for a treat this August Bank Holiday, as the Moorcock prepares to host a brand-new event celebrating our four-legged friends.

‘Tails on the Terrace’ will take place on Monday 25th August, running from 11am to 4pm in the pub’s garden area. The event promises a lively mix of canine-themed fun, local traders, tasty food, and a relaxed summer atmosphere - all with the hope of some Bank Holiday sunshine.

The line-up includes Pooch, a specialist in dog treats, toys, and health products; Gypsys Way, a new business offering stylish accessories for walkies; and feltbabiess, who will create bespoke felt portraits of pets that owners will be proud to display.

For the canine culinary experience, local dog business Up Pup and Away will be running their Walkies Diner, serving delicious snacks for pups. Human guests won’t be left out, with the Moorcock team firing up the grill for hot dogs - with a promise that no dachshunds will be involved!

The event is free to attend, with the pub inviting visitors to bring along their dogs, friends, and families for what they hope will be a fun-filled day of wagging tails, community spirit, and great food.

The Moorcock team summed it up perfectly: “Bring your four legged friend, your nearest and dearest, and an appetite. The rest’s on us.”
