Littleborough Residents Help Secure Conviction After Anti-Social Behaviour Reports
Littleborough’s new Police Community Support Officer has thanked residents for their support after a man was arrested and found guilty in court following reports of anti-social behaviour.
PCSO Alan Shaw, who has recently taken on responsibility for Littleborough, Wardle and West Littleborough, said concerns were raised about a man asking women for money and causing a nuisance in the area.
Thanks to information provided by members of the public, the man was identified, arrested, and later convicted in court.
PCSO Shaw said:
“This outcome reflects the strength of our community working together. Your reports and support played a vital role, and I want to thank everyone who came forward with information.”
He added that he was proud to be serving the area and looked forward to working closely with residents to tackle local issues.
