Police seize suspected stolen van following community reports

A white van has been seized by police in Littleborough following reports raised by the Environmental Management Department at Rochdale Borough Council.

Officers from the local policing team visited Whitelees Road after concerns were highlighted about parking issues. Following enquiries, the van was seized on suspicion of being stolen.

The vehicle has now been secured and will undergo further checks by the police vehicle examination unit.

A spokesperson for the local policing team said:

“We’d like to thank members of the community who helped bring this issue to our attention. Your continued support plays an important part in keeping our area safe.”

The investigation remains ongoing.
