Littleborough's Own 'Mel's Mascots' Debuts on YouTube
A slice of Littleborough life, served with a generous helping of comedy, has arrived on YouTube with the release of the short independent film, "Mel's Mascots." Written by local actor Becky Kershaw, the film was shot entirely within Littleborough, showcasing familiar locations and local talent.
"Mel's Mascots" follows the chaotic adventures of employees at a children's entertainment company. The story centers on Xander, a new recruit, eager to make his mark as a ringmaster at his first party. However, his enthusiasm quickly clashes with the less-than-helpful antics of his colleagues, leading to a series of hilarious mishaps.
"We made it with no budget and relied on passion, goodwill and a love of comedy to get it made over 2 days," said Becky Kershaw.
The film offers a lighthearted look behind the scenes of children's entertainment, with plenty of slapstick comedy and relatable moments. How many Littleborough locations can you spot?
