Local Aesthetics Clinic to Raise Funds for Springhill Hospice in April

Medical Aesthetics by Rebecca Hunter is dedicating the month of April to fundraising for Springhill Hospice in Rochdale, a cause close to the clinic owner's heart.

Rebecca Hunter, who runs the aesthetics practice on Church Street, has a long-standing connection to the hospice, having started her nursing career there in 2009.  Over the years, Springhill Hospice has provided crucial care and support for her family, including her mother, father, and most recently, her grandad.

Driven by gratitude and a desire to give back, Rebecca is launching a fundraising initiative throughout April.  She is inviting her clients to donate just £1, or any amount they can spare, with each appointment booked during the month.

Springhill Hospice plays a vital role in the local community, providing specialist palliative care for patients and support for their families.  However, the financial realities of running such a facility are significant.  Astonishingly, it costs over £7,500 every single day to keep the hospice's doors open and continue providing its essential services.  The hospice relies almost entirely on the generosity of donations and fundraising efforts from the public and local businesses to meet this substantial daily cost.

Rebecca shared her motivation for the initiative, stating, "Springhill Hospice holds a special place in my heart, and I feel so grateful to have the chance to give back. It's mind-blowing to think they need to raise over £7,500 every day, relying solely on donations."

She is hopeful that her clients will embrace the fundraising effort and contribute to making a significant impact for the hospice.  All funds raised during April through Medical Aesthetics by Rebecca Hunter's appointments will go directly to Springhill Hospice, helping them to continue their invaluable work in the Rochdale borough.
