Blossoms and Brushes: Star Tree Studio Hosts Free Art Event Inspired by Hare Hill Park

A vibrant burst of creativity is coming to The Star Tree Studio as it hosts "Random Acts of Art", a free, open-to-all pop-up event on Saturday 24th May from 10am to 2pm.

This community-focused celebration invites visitors of all ages to get creative and contribute to a collaborative art project inspired by the stunning cherry blossom trees of Hare Hill Park. The resulting artwork will be showcased both inside and outside Hare Hill House, as part of the festivities marking the historic building’s 250th anniversary.

Whether you're an experienced artist or just looking to try something new, everyone is welcome—no booking required. Just drop in, pick up a brush or pen, and help reimagine the park’s iconic springtime bloom in artistic form.

The event is made possible thanks to support from Culture Coop, ensuring it's completely free to attend.

“We’re really looking forward to this creative celebration,” says Neela Jackson at The Star Tree Studio. “It’s a chance for the community to come together, get inspired by the beauty around us, and mark a very special milestone for Hare Hill House.”

So come along, be part of something beautiful, and let your imagination blossom.

The Star Tree Studio is located in Hare Hill Park next to the Skate Park.
