Rise in Two‑Wheeler Thefts Across Littleborough

Littleborough residents are being urged to stay vigilant following a rise in thefts involving pedal bikes, e‑bikes, mopeds and motorcycles across the wider Rochdale district.

Greater Manchester Police confirmed that a small number of these incidents have taken place in and around Littleborough, and officers are currently investigating the reports.

Inspector Clem Jones said the team is actively looking into the offences and is asking residents to take extra care with their vehicles while enquiries continue.  He added that securely locking any two‑wheeled vehicle when not in use remains one of the most effective ways to deter opportunistic theft.

Police are also encouraging residents to report anything suspicious, no matter how small it may seem, as it could help ongoing investigations.
