Littleborough gears up for the Food Festival
Littleborough is set to host its annual Food & Drink Festival on Saturday, 14th June 2025, from 11am to 4pm—10 years after the first trial event in 2015. Organised by the Littleborough Events and Associations Forum (LEAF), the festival promises a full day of mouth-watering food, family entertainment, and community pride.
To mark ten years of flavour and fun, Littleborough’s town centre will once again come alive with more than 20 local traders offering an incredible range of street food, sweet treats, and artisan produce. Stalls will line Hare Hill Road and Victoria Street, with new stalls North Churros and Yoyo Laos Sauce as well as much-loved regulars like Casa Rustica, The Wilde Bakery, Greek Street, and Little Badger Cider returning to tempt festival goers.
It’s not just about food—visitors can expect a lively programme of entertainment including performances by Bloom Community Choir, local talent Danny King, and the energetic Wardle Junior Blast band. There will also be cookery demonstrations from Pennine hospitality and the CookStars return to give vital cookery lessons to the kids. The entire event has been curated to provide a vibrant, family-friendly atmosphere at the heart of the community.
The Coach House will be holding a Craft Fair and some local shops and businesses will be offering tasty treats and special offers.
This year, LittleboroughLocal is proud to support the festival alongside fellow sponsors The Star Tree Studio and Pennine Hospitality. The event's main sponsor is The Moorcock, the well-loved local pub and restaurant located at Blackstone Edge. Additional funding and vital support have also been provided by Rochdale Council’s Pennine Township and the Crook Hill Community Benefit Fund, helping ensure the festival’s continued growth and success.
To keep everyone safe during the festivities, Hare Hill Road (from Church Street to Greenwood Street) and Victoria Street (from Lodge Street to Wellington Street) will be closed from 8am to 6pm. Clear diversions and signage will help manage traffic around the area.
The Littleborough Food & Drink Festival is a free event, welcoming everyone to enjoy the best of local produce, entertainment, and community togetherness.
