Littleborough Sports Club Nears the Finish Line on Room Upgrade

Littleborough Sports Club is celebrating a significant fundraising milestone and calling for one final push to complete an inspiring transformation.

For years, the club has operated from a beloved but outdated main room. This space is now slated for a modern redesign. Thanks to generous grants and the steadfast efforts of members, volunteers, and the committee, the project has passed its critical fundraising goal. But there’s still a little way to go.

According to the official GoFundMe fundraiser, organised by David Kearns, the campaign has raised £1,215 of their £1,400 target, helping to cover important upgrades like a new ceiling, fresh paint, new technology, and other key improvements. The fundraiser describes the club as "long been the heart of our community," noting that while progress has been made through self-funding and a generous grant, additional support is still needed to ensure the refurbishment’s success.

This renovation goes far beyond aesthetics. Littleborough Sports Club is more than a place to play - it’s a vibrant hub for inclusivity, serving women, children, people with SEND, and a wide range of community-run sports such as rugby, rounders, dog training, fitness sessions, and junior sports.

The new space will be a modern, accessible function area tailored to foster connection, growth, and community wellbeing.

As the club approaches the finish line, here's how you can make a difference:
