Littleborough Tangent Raise £2,660 for Springhill Hospice

The ladies of Littleborough Tangent have once again shown the power of community spirit by raising an incredible £2,660 for Springhill Hospice as their nominated charity for 2025.

Established in 2017, Littleborough Tangent is a warm and vibrant friendship club for women aged 40+, built on fun, laughter and connection. Alongside their regular social meet-ups and shared experiences, the group proudly gives back by supporting charities and the local community.

To reach the impressive total, members braved a very soggy Three Reservoir Ramble and hosted two hugely popular wreath-making sessions at the hospice. Both events were well supported, with attendees, donors and volunteers all playing their part in boosting the final figure.

Springhill Hospice said they “loved working with this group of ladies” and hope to continue sharing their friendship in the future. The funds raised will help the hospice continue its vital work supporting patients and families across the Rochdale borough, ensuring every moment counts.

Littleborough Tangent thanked everyone who attended events, donated, volunteered and cheered them on throughout the year.
