Former Lioness and I’m A Celebrity winner Jill Scott powered through Littleborough today as part of her ambitious Sport Relief challenge, greeted by cheering schoolchildren who lined the streets despite relentless rain.

Pupils from Holy Trinity Primary School and Stansfield Hall Primary School turned out in force, chanting her name, and creating a wall of noise as Jill cycled past on her latest leg.

The weather was far from kind as heavy rain swept across Littleborough all day but spirits stayed high. Children huddled under coats and umbrellas, determined not to miss the chance to support the former England player.

Parents and residents also gathered along the route, many capturing the moment on phones as Jill offered waves and huge smiles.

Jill is currently taking on a demanding multi‑day endurance challenge for Sport Relief, raising money to support vulnerable communities across the UK and beyond. Her route has taken her through towns and cities across the North West, with Littleborough marking one of today’s key milestones.

Though soaked through, she appeared energised by the Littleborough crowd, especially the young supporters who braved the weather to cheer her on.
