Local Elections 2026: Full Candidate Lists and Key Deadlines for Littleborough Voters
Residents across Littleborough will head to the polls on Thursday 7 May 2026 as local elections take place across the Rochdale borough. With candidate lists now confirmed and key voter deadlines approaching, residents are being encouraged to make sure they’re ready to take part.
Rochdale Council has issued the following official dates:
- Register to vote: Midnight, Monday 20 April 2026
- Apply for a postal vote: 5pm, Tuesday 21 April 2026
- Apply for a Voter Authority Certificate (free photo ID): 5pm, Tuesday 28 April 2026
- Apply for a proxy vote: 5pm, Tuesday 28 April 2026
- Polling Day: Thursday 7 May 2026, 7am–10pm
Voters must bring an accepted form of photo ID to the polling station. Those without ID can apply for a free Voter Authority Certificate before the deadline.
